AGNORA was contracted to produce a high-performance glass curtain wall to serve as an enclosure to Damien Hirst’s ‘Gone but not Forgotten’, a gilded skeleton of a ten-foot tall woolly mammoth. The largest insulated unit measured up to 129 3/4″ W x 246″ L.
The Shops at Don Mills features 12m tall gateway pylons for the mall’s main entrance and 10m tall pylons for the secondary entrance. Twenty-seven 3m tall signs mark the intersections of the mall and provide parking space information. These digitally-printed, ceramic frit signs represent a technical achievement that has pushed AGNORA’s decorative glass offerings above their own expectations.
