Igor Reyes graduated from Florida A&M University where he received his Bachelors in Architecture in 1993. He originally came on board in 1999 as a project manager. Throughout his time at the firm, he has concentrated on the further development of our design culture at NBWW and the marketing of our historic contribution to local construction. He has been involved with many of the award winning designs at the firm such as 1450 Brickell, International Finance Bank, as well as other innovative designs such as VUE, Marriott at Miami World Center, and Met 2 at Metropolitan Miami.

Jacqueline has a reputation for strong design and professional leadership in architecture, master planning and interior design. Her approach to each design is based on a rigorous understanding of the people, the climate, the culture, and the history of a place. She has been recognized for her design leadership throughout her career – as Miami AIA’s Young Architect of the Year and Architect of the Year. A champion for preparing the community for coastal resilience and designing a livable and sustainable future, she is the Chair of the Resiliency Committee for the Board of MRED (University of Miami School of Real Estate, Development and Urbanism), a Trustee for History Miami Museum, an AIA advisor to the Sea Level Rise committee, and a frequent guest critic at University of Miami. She has designed award-winning mixed use projects in Asia, Europe and in the USA.

Jeffrey E. Huber, AIA, Assoc. ASLA, NCARB, LEED AP is a Principal and Director of Urban Design, Landscape Architecture and Planning at Brooks + Scarpa Architects where he also manages the firm’s South Florida office. He is also an Associate Professor and Director of the School of Architecture at Florida Atlantic University. Huber’s work combines ecological, landscape, urban, and architectural design with a focus on resiliency and adaptation. His design and research have garnered 75+ national and international design awards.

Henry Rueda started teaching at FIU in 2014 and before that, he taught at Escuela de Arquitectura y Diseno at Universidad Jose Maria Vargas; Escuela de Arquitectura y Urbanismo at Universidad Central de Venezuela and also at Universidad Simon Bolivar, Venezuela. His professional experience includes working for Jesus Tenreiro in Caracas, Venezuela and Wiel Arets in Maastricht, Holland. His current work focuses on single family residences in different cities in Venezuela and in Miami. In 2014 his VL House was nominated for the Emerging Architects Mies Crown Hall Prize of the Americas, organized by the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Claudio Salazar, LEED AP, obtained his Bachelor of Design in Architecture from the University of Florida and his Master of Architecture from Boston Architectural College where he focused on parametric design and the impact of recursive geometry in urban design interventions. Since 2000, he has been the designer, project manager and planner for numerous residential, commercial and mixed-use projects in the United States, Europe, Latin American, Asia and the Middle East. is an Associate and Project Designer at NBWW. Salazar is also an instructor of Architectural Design and a Lecturer at the Graduate Program of the School of Architecture at Florida International University.

Raymond Fort, Associate AIA, LEED AP, graduated from Columbia University School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation with a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design. Fort also holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Cornell University School of Architecture. He is a well-versed designer and has experience in mixed-use, residential, office, educational, cultural and retail development. He joined Arquitectonica in 2012 and has served as designer, planner and project manager for some of the firm’s most creative projects, including the award-winning University of Miami School of Architecture building, Mr. C Coconut Grove and several projects in Wynwood. Fort has taught at the University of Miami School of Architecture and Florida International University School of Architecture.

Victor Sanchez, Director of Construction for Goldman Properties, is responsible for the overall supervision, coordination and management of all design, construction and development projects within the Goldman Properties portfolio. His responsibilities range from due diligence, concept development and design coordination to pre-construction, permitting and construction management. With Goldman Properties, Sanchez has been involved in multiple projects in South Florida, Philadelphia, and New York, ranging from small adaptive re-use renovations to large scale mixed-use, commercial, and hospitality projects.

He has been an integral part of Goldman Properties revitalization efforts in Wynwood, where he managed and self-performed some of the most iconic projects in the district, including Wynwood Walls, The Wynwood Building, Light Box at Goldman Warehouse, and The Wynwood Garage among others.

Prior to joining Goldman Properties, he served as project manager on numerous projects in South Florida ranging from high-end single family residences to multifamily and mixed-use projects. He also worked as an architect for several prestigious architectural firms in Miami where he participated in the design of multiple commercial, residential, and historic preservation projects.

Sanchez currently serves as Chairman of the Wynwood Design Review Board, and advisory board that aims to elevate the overall design standards on all proposed projects in Wynwood, and proudly serves on the University of Miami school of Engineering Masters in Construction Management program.

He holds a bachelor degree in Architecture from the University of Miami, a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, a Florida Certified General Contractor License, and a GPRO Certification.

Jeff Sakowitz, AIA, LEED AP, focuses his expertise on the practical implementation of innovative solutions for a range of clients, including real estate developers and public agencies. He has served a similar role as project architect for a number of large-scale mixed-use development, high-rise residential, hotel, and office building projects during his 25 years at Elkus Manfredi, including the Paramount Miami Worldcenter. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Danilo Nanni, PE, SI, LEED AP, joined DeSimone in 2006. Nanni’s current projects include Paramount Miami Worldcenter, a 3.5 million sf development comprised of a 704ft-tall residential tower set above a retail and parking podium; and the oceanfront Aston Martin Residences, an 817ft-tall luxury condominium tower in Downtown Miami. Other recently completed developments include Panorama Tower, a 2.6 million sf, 868ft structure that is today the tallest building in the State of Florida; and Brickell Flatiron, a 65-story, 736ft-tall residential tower. Past experience includes the design of Biscayne Landing, a 5.6 million sf mixed-use project bisected by elevated roadways and plazas; Al Ain Wildlife Park Resorts & Residences project in the UAE a 1.5 million sf community that surrounds a wildlife park; and the Guaynabo City Hospital, a 160,000sf, state-of-the-art hospital in Puerto Rico that is the island’s most advanced healthcare facility. Nanni received his 5 years degree (Laurea) in Structural Engineering from the Polytechnic in Milan, Italy, and he holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Miami.
