Alliston Watts is a mechanical engineer and an experienced experimentalist who has been working in sustainable energy systems for over 12 years. His background includes conducting research in thermal characterization, material testing, and real-world data acquisition of building envelope technology and module level photovoltaic. Currently a Durability Research Engineer at NREL, he focuses on the characterization and durability of emerging fenestration products, particularly in the areas of emerging window technology.
