Anya LaRoche, P.E., is a Consulting Engineer at Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. (SGH). She graduated from the University of Michigan in 2016 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. She specializes in custom curtain wall system design, computational analysis, and construction. Anya also helps lead the BIM development team for building enclosure work. Notable projects include LaGuardia International Airport Terminal C, and she has authored technical papers and presented on topics such as air sealing building enclosures and firesafing at rainscreen wall assemblies. Committed to the next generation of AEC professionals, Anya actively supports the Fresh Air Fund (FAF) through mentoring and organizing career awareness events with SGH for the FAF high school and middle school programs.
