Dongyeop Lee has more than two decades of extensive experiences in architectural design of commercial, residential, cultural, aviation, hospitality and mixed-use projects throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia. With his expertise in design for a wide range of projects, he focuses on how to enhance design quality and process through computation methodologies in architecture. He co-leads computation under the Technology In Practice (TIP) Group at SmithGroup.  Dongyeop has crafted a unique expertise in how parametric design workflows are utilized in building enclosure design.  Using cutting edge modeling tools and then simplifying data to translate into a buildable model, Dongyeop does complex geometric analysis and optimization for various façade systems.  He has also developed proprietary computational tools to accomplish automated design documentation, data visualization, and performance evaluation.
