With 17 years of professional experience, Shara Castillo has spent her architectural career focused on areas of technical design and project management, with a passion for high-performance architecture that is reflected in her leadership on numerous LEED-certified projects. Shara’s leadership and collaborative approach working with clients and consultants has contributed to the success of every project she been part of, which spans a broad range of building types: healthcare facilities, laboratories, academic and judicial buildings, and workplaces. As an environmentalist who thrives on variety, Shara welcomes a final product that successfully integrates disparate pieces, while optimizing the local climate. This enables Shara to create high-impact sustainable design solutions that provide operational savings for her clients and help preserve the environment for years to come. Shara earned a Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas at Austin and is a previous board member of USGBC-Los Angeles.
