Robin Ault
Design Director, Principal
Robin Ault, AIA LEED AP is a Principal and Design Director for the Denver studio of Perkins&Will. With over 25 years of experience, Ault has led the designs of national and international design competitions and been the lead project designer for several award-winning buildings including the LEED Gold 50 Fifty office building in Denver, the LEED Platinum Humanities Gateway at the University of California Irvine and the LEED Gold stem cell research laboratory for the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine adjacent to the Salk Institute in La Jolla.
Always focused on the human experience, Ault’s projects are characterized by the interesting use of tactile materials and sculptural forms that capture and enhance the light; stimulating multiple senses simultaneously. Mindful of the context in which he is working, his projects frequently refer to the unique architectural heritage of the place.
In addition to being a talented architect, Robin is also an accomplished artist whose contemporary paintings are regularly exhibited in Denver.
Robin Ault is a visiting critic and student mentor to the University of Colorado, College of Architecture and Planning, a Design Review Board Member for the Fitzsimons Redevelopment Authority and is on the Design Review Board & Board of Directors for the Lowry Community Master Association.
