In his 42-year career, McGlone has been involved in some of the firm’s most prominent projects, including: the move and restoration of the Fairmount Hotel, the design of the firm’s So Flo Office Studios, and recently, the collaboration with Adjaye Associates in the design of Ruby City. He leads the firm’s Adaptive Reuse and Special Projects studio that is currently involved with the preservation of three historic buildings in down- town Temple and the conversion of the St. Cecilia Convent into affordable senior housing. McGlone has served as AIA San Antonio Chapter President, Texas Society of Architects President, and is cur- rently one of three regional representatives from Texas on the AIA Strategic Council.
