Since co-founding Elkus Manfredi Architects in 1988, David Manfredi has focused on designing places for people, whether reinventing urban precincts as 21st-century mixed-use environments, transforming the edges of universities from barriers into connective seams with adjacent neighborhoods, or reviving underutilized urban areas as diverse innovation districts that support the collaborative imperatives of today’s science and technology. David serves on the Boston Civic Design Commission, the Northeastern University School of Architecture Advisory Council, the University of Notre Dame School of Architecture Advisory Council, and the ULI Boston Advisory Board.
