Rami el Samahy leads a wide range of projects, including exhibitions, cultural and institutional buildings, tactical urban design, and large-scale urban developments. Recent work for OverUnder includes a new museum in Haverhill, Massachusetts; ongoing urban design consultation for MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative; and design guidelines for District 2020, the legacy project of the Dubai Expo. An Adjunct Professor at MIT, Rami’s academic research focuses on sustainable urban design, the legacy of modernism, and the future of cities.
