Lori O’Malley, a P.Eng., M.A.Sc., and LEED Green Associate, has specialized uniquely in building envelope design and construction for over 25 years.  For the last fourteen years, Lori has been serving as PCL’s in-house building envelope engineering specialist; prior to that, she was an associate responsible for the façade consulting services team at a large consulting engineering firm in Toronto.  Based out of PCL’s Toronto District, Lori provides technical assistance on high-performance building envelope projects across North America. In addition to providing technical assistance throughout the project life to identify improved building envelope performance solutions, she assists in material selection, identifying continuity concerns, and potential constructability and sequencing concerns of building envelope throughout the design, construction and commissioning phases of a project. Lori has spoken at several industry events and lectures including Facade Tectonics, Passive House, CaGBC, OBEC, Construct Canada and the University of Toronto.
