Olivia Keung, OAA, MRAIC, CPHD

Moriyama & Teshima

Olivia Keung is an architect whose work demonstrates an aspiration towards a low carbon, sustainable future, integrated with a focus on projects that create positive social impact. At Moriyama & Teshima, she has played key roles on the University of Guelph’s Honey Bee Research Centre and the Arbour at George Brown College. Olivia also worked alongside Waterfront Toronto on the ambitious update to their Green Building Requirements, released in 2021. The GBRs are part of a larger holistic vision to build complete communities that are both climate positive and inclusive.

With a commitment to educating others about the role buildings play in today’s climate emergency, Olivia has spoken extensively about the design of zero carbon buildings and the business case for building more sustainably. She is a Certified Passive House Designer and currently serves on the City of Toronto’s Design Review Panel and the RAIC’s Advisory Committee for Promoting Equity and Justice. She is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with degrees in architecture and environmental studies.
