“Shruti is an Associate Director, a senior member of the Atelier Ten Energy Analysis Practice, and the Environmental Design Practice Leader for the firm. She combines her technical competency and creativity across multiple disciplines – architecture, engineering and master planning – to develop integrated, cross disciplinary solutions for projects. She is an expert on passive systems, façade and energy optimization, and energy masterplanning.

Shruti has worked on many of the firm’s most ambitious projects including the LEED Gold San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the new Uber Headquarters in San Francisco, and the Willow Campus master plan for Facebook. Furthermore, as a member of the International Living Future Institute, Shruti guides project teams through the complex materials selection and vetting process while also developing passive and active strategies to minimize water and energy use.

Shruti holds a M.S. in Building Sciences from Arizona State University and a B.Arch from Pune University in India. She is the current Chair of the San Francisco Chapter of IBPSA-USA and a committee member for the ASHRAE BEAP and BEMP certification examinations.”
