Matt O’Malley has 24 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, working for two of the largest general contractors in the United States during that time. He currently leads the Preconstruction Group and the Commercial Market Sector for the Washington, DC office and Northeast Region of DPR Construction. Matt’s responsibilities include business development, client relationships, estimating, and preconstruction services for the Washington, DC, market and the greater northeast region from Richmond, VA, to Boston, MA. Matt received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. He is dedicated to teaching at the graduate school level and has been doing so for 15 years. Matt is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Virginia School of Engineering and the University of Maryland School of Architecture. Matt has also taught graduate-level courses and lectured at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
