Emir Pekdemir is an Associate with Atelier Ten and expert in the firm’s Environmental Design and Energy Analysis practices. Emir leverages advanced building simulation tools to solve intricate building physics challenges encountered in complex designs. He is experienced in dynamic energy and airflow modeling, hygrothermal modeling, daylight/glare simulations and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Emir regularly speaks at local and global conferences including several previous Facades+ events across the country. He is also a professor at Parsons School of Design and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he teaches sustainable design principles to the new generation of architects.
