As the Technical Design Partner, Keith is responsible for firmwide technical design and orchestrates and oversees detailed design and construction documentation for all West Coast projects. Since joining SOM in 1981, he has worked on high-rise office buildings, government facilities, amusement parks, residential and mixed-use complexes, and international and domestic airport passenger terminals.

Keith specializes in designing and executing technically complex building systems, and actively engages in research and application of materials and systems for use in SOM’s projects. He is also the author of Exterior Building Enclosures: Design Process and Composition for Innovative Facades, which addresses the design and execution of sophisticated building envelopes.
