Rashida Ng
Associate Professor
Rashida Ng is a Presidential Associate Professor of Architecture with the Weitzman School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania. A licensed architect and educator, Ng’s research lies at the intersection of the climate crisis and social justice. She considers the collective impact of the climate crisis and systems of racial oppression on architecture and the urban realm. Ng has also authored numerous papers on advanced materials and is co-editor of the book, Performative Materials in Architecture and Design (Intellect, 2013). She was the 2019-2020 President of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA), the first African American woman to hold this position.
